Lisa Lark is the Founder and CEO of Lisa Lark Communications, LLC.
A skilled strategist, writer and storyteller, Lisa specializes in helping clients build customized and cohesive communications plans that drive business objectives. Her diverse professional background has helped her build a one-of-a-kind approach to communications that utilizes language, research, and analysis.
Lisa has more than 15 years of corporate and agency communications experience. Prior to launching her own company in 2021, Lisa held communications positions at Lambert & Co., Varroc Lighting Systems and Weber Shandwick.
Throughout her career, she has supported clients of all sizes across multiple industries with a focus on automotive, manufacturing and education. Her work has included projects in strategic planning, communications plan development, internal and employee communications, long-form content development, crisis communication, digital content development, speechwriting, and event planning.
Additionally, Lisa is the author of three books that tell the stories of the men and women who have given their lives in service to the United States. Her first book, All They Left Behind: Legacies of the Men and Women on The Wall was published in 2012 in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of Vietnam Veterans Memorial and is included in the Library of Congress catalog. She is also the author of There and Back: The Vietnam War Through the Eyes of Those Who Lived It and Gone Too Soon: Dearborn Remembers Its Fallen Heroes.
Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, as well as master’s degrees in teaching and English as a second language, all from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Kimberly Lark is Lisa Lark Communications Co-owner & COO. Bringing more than a decade of classroom, training, and educational experience, Kimberly supports clients in workshops, advisory services and training, and develops DEI content to meet the needs of DEI professionals and the organizations they serve.
Kimberly has a wealth of experience discussing sometimes controversial topics, reaching all different types of learners, and working across modalities. As an out gay woman, she brings her personal experiences into her work to broaden the conversation and offer insights into lived experiences. She is passionate about this work and is dedicated to assisting companies create authentically inclusive cultures to help them succeed.
Brynna has been with Lisa Lark Communications since January of 2023, but has had the privilege of knowing Lisa and Kim since 2019. Her experience and creativity from a wide variety of multiple fields lends itself well to tackling anything life throws at her. Brynna specializes in project and account management, client development, marketing, graphic design, and MUCH more. New challenges are the best ones, especially if it means adding a skill to her toolbelt!
Brynna’s expertise has spanned traditional, digital, and social media spaces, and her work includes successful social media and website campaigns. Company rebranding and identity development are some of her favorite projects - she loves to see businesses grow and find their unique strengths and voices.
When not working on business for LLC, Brynna is a part time content creator/variety streamer and voice actor.
